MAXIMUM SAFETY, MAXIMUM COMFORT
At Ocean Kube we take security very seriously. Therefore, all our containers have a self-closing lid operated by a comfortable pedal. Thus, the waste is safely kept for you and for everyone.
NO PLASTIC BAGS
In the collection process, we remove the cardboard box and dump its content into the cleaning trolley. Therefore, since there is no need to close one bag and replace it with another, not only do we save time, but also the bags cost. Needless to mention, by we are contributing to the environment by reducing plastic waste, which is difficult to recycle.
IT DOES NOT NEED WASHING
If the box need replacing after several days or weeks, it is removed together with the paper corresponding fraction and is quickly substituted by a new one. The box lifespan can vary from days to weeks, depending on the type of fraction.
NO TO PLASTIC FOR A SINGLE USE ONLY
Every day, the cleaning staff is responsible for collecting waste from thousands of litterbins located in offices, airports or shopping centers, among others. The plastic bag is replaced by a new one, whether each fraction is full or not.
Consequently, an unnecessary amount of plastic is generated which, in turn, leads to a recycling problem. In addition to this, owing to plastic thin thickness, it goes under a fast degradation process and, thus disintegrating into polluting pieces which end up in our oceans. At Ocean Kube we consider these bags as single-use plastic.

RECYCLED
ALUMINUM
Aluminum is a metal that can be infinitely re-melted keeping its properties and maintaining its high resistance. Besides that, re-melted aluminium significantly reduces energy consumption since the process requires only 5% of the energy that would be consumed when using aluminium directly extracted from the mine.
RECYCLED
CARDBOARD
After a long research process, we have developed a water repelling treatment.
Furthermore, we control its origin and the manufacturing and printing system used also makes it easily recoverable. It is cardboard from your environment that, thanks to the recovery system used, allows us to promote the circular economy.
BAMBOO
In order to guarantee our 0% plastic commitment, we use some natural rubber components, avoiding the use of hydrocarbons and toxic components. We also take advantage of bamboo high resistance (or other sustainable woods) for supporting components, and we use natural fibers for protection and sound muffling of moving parts.
SMART DESIGN
The design of the Zen interior containers is based on the use of the best materials for each function: an aluminum structure bot light and resistant, where the number of pieces are kept to the necessary minimum.
Integration of its different shapes and designs in all kinds of spaces (public or private) has been sought, thus achieving an attractive product, not only for its appearance but also for its message: it is a clear declaration of intent.

EASY AND QUICK EMPTYING AND REPLACEMENT OF THE BOX
The box has two side handles for the emptying. The tank replacement system has been specially designed to be as simple and fast as possible.
WITH OR WITHOUT WHEELS
The sizes 90 and 60 can include wheels and a handle to allow maximum comfort when transporting the container.
BACTERICIDE AND VIRUCID FINISH
Both the structure and the cardboard can include a coating that kills bacteria and viruses in 3 hours.
SELF-CLOSING LID
The opening design has been developed to ensure the lid never remains open, thus avoiding potential insect migrations.

Unlike traditional containers, in which mouths or colors are used to mark the fractions, Zen always uses a common structure for all of them. In addition, we take advantage of the cardboard support to signal, advertise, identify and even raise awareness.

Zen Kubic
A VERSION DESIGNED IN THE TRACEABILITY OF WASTE
Zen Kubic has been designed to contain a cardboard box with an integrated lid, which can also be stackable. This allows waste traceability in a safer and optimized way.
A pedal has been intentionally included in the design in order to avoid possible contact with people’s hands, persuading them to use the pedal instead, thus making the device ideal for avoiding infection.
An illustrative example of its use would be the destruction of sensitive documentation, temporary storage or specific treatment of certain fractions. A box is much easier and safer to handle and store than a plastic bag, having also the added benefit of the contribution to the circular economy.
